The Two Friends and the Bear

Two friends were traveling together through a forest.
Before beginning their journey, they had promised to help each other whenever they were in danger.
As they were walking along the path, they suddenly saw a large bear coming toward them.
One of the friends quickly climbed up a nearby tree.
He hid among the branches without thinking about his companion.
The other friend did not know how to climb a tree.
Realizing that he could not escape, he threw himself on the ground and lay completely still.
He had heard that bears usually do not touch dead bodies, so he held his breath and pretended to be dead.
The bear came close to him. It sniffed his face, ears, and neck.
The man remained perfectly still and did not even breathe.
Believing that the man was dead, the bear slowly walked away.
When the bear had disappeared, the friend in the tree climbed down.
Laughing, he asked, “What did the bear whisper in your ear?”
The other man stood up and brushed the dirt from his clothes. “The bear gave me some good advice,” he replied. “It told me never to travel with a friend who abandons me when danger comes.”

남자는 자리에서 일어나 옷에 묻은 흙을 털었다. "곰이 나에게 아주 좋은 충고를 해주었어." 그가 대답했다. "위험한 순간에 나를 버리는 친구와는 절대로 함께 여행하지 말라고 했어."
